Happy 2016 to all of our Bluebonnet Babies followers! This year was filled with leaps of faith and great rewards. In March I established Bluebonnet Babies, LLC. My grandpa’s reverberating mantra: “Be your own boss, be your own boss, be your own boss” catapulted me into the world of entrepreneurship. Far from gracefully, I attempted to shift gears as a stay-at-home mother of three to a business owner and Certified Bradley Method® Natural Childbirth Educator. My childbirth classes flourished and I embraced every moment nurturing pregnant couples as they prepared for natural childbirth.

As my students graduated and their families grew, I eagerly visited, bringing lentil soup as a token of the warmth I feel towards them. I met their precious babies and listened to their incredible birth stories. My classes met for reunions where parents exchanged hugs and experiences. Invigorated by my love of teaching, I decided to reach a wider audience and started blogging. An endeavor formally reserved for my personal writing, Bluebonnet Babies blog was surprisingly well received. Publishers from across the globe were printing my articles. This vote of confidence fueled my passion and validated my calling as a natural childbirth educator.

Most recently we launched Bluebonnet Babies online store offering carefully curated luxury and essential items for moms and babies. Showcasing our Bluebonnet Babies Journals That Give Back, we’ve joined forces with Maternal and Child Health Access, a non-profit organization directly servicing homeless and low-income pregnant women, babies and families. By donating 100% of profit from journal sales, we’re able to give back and support pregnant women and families in need.

2016 will involve hard work and no doubt, utter joy. Like labor and childbirth, difficult and sometimes grueling efforts, reap profound rewards. Bluebonnet Babies is looking forward to exhibiting in our first show, The Mom Expo in The Woodlands on February 27. We will also be featured in Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine’s February Issue, our first feature article in a nationally renowned publication. Please keep in touch with us on social media and in person so we can continue to share the Bluebonnet Babies love! We’re dedicated to providing empowering resources to pregnant women and new families.

Wishing you peace, love and joy in 2016,

Molly England, Founder
